Inside ORVIWO’s AI-Ready Data Centers, Arista, Palo Alto and Cisco don’t compete—they collaborate. Here’s how we turn three global leaders into a single, mission-focused ecosystem for Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and LATAM.
From Products to Ecosystem: ORVIWO’s Approach
Most organizations buy “a firewall,” “some switches,” or “a router for the branch.”
At ORVIWO, we design something different: an integrated ecosystem for AI, data, and mission-critical operations.
In that ecosystem, three vendors play a central role:
Arista Networks – high-performance data-center and AI fabric
Palo Alto Networks – deep, Zero-Trust security and threat defense
Cisco – secure WAN, campus networking and user access
Together, they power ORVIWO’s AI-Ready Data Centers and field architectures for customers across Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and LATAM.
This blog explains how these three technologies collaborate inside the ORVIWO stack—and why that matters if you run critical infrastructure, government, defense, public safety, healthcare or utilities.
Arista Networks: The High-Speed AI Fabric

When you train or deploy AI at scale, the network inside the data center becomes just as important as the GPUs.
Arista Networks provides the spine-leaf fabric that interconnects:
GPU servers and high-performance compute
Storage systems and databases
Edge nodes and gateways
Security appliances and service chains
Using EVPN/VXLAN and high-density 100/200/400/800G switching, Arista delivers:
Ultra-low latency and predictable performance for AI training and inference
Flexible segmentation so different missions or tenants can share the same fabric securely
Rich telemetry and streaming data that ORVIWO can feed into our Neuro-Tactical Intelligence dashboards
Think of Arista as the high-speed motorway inside ORVIWO’s AI-Ready Data Centers.
Palo Alto Networks: The Zero-Trust Shield

Once the AI fabric is in place, it must be protected—not only from the outside world, but also between internal zones and workloads.
Palo Alto Networks is the Zero-Trust security layer surrounding and slicing through our data centers and hybrid cloud.
In the ORVIWO ecosystem, Palo Alto typically sits at:
The data-center perimeter, protecting north-south traffic
The segmentation gateways, isolating AI workloads from OT, CCTV, and user networks
Cloud and container environments, extending the same security policies into multi-cloud
With NGFW, IPS, URL/DNS filtering, sandboxing and app- and user-based policies, Palo Alto lets ORVIWO:
Enforce Zero-Trust Network Security instead of simple “allow this IP” rules
Monitor and correlate threats across data center, cloud and remote sites
Automate response with XDR and SOAR playbooks
Palo Alto is the armed checkpoint that makes sure every packet and every session has a legitimate reason to be there.
Cisco: The Secure Highway Between Sites and Missions

AI doesn’t live only in a data center rack. It touches branches, vehicles, remote islands, clinics, ports and tactical teams.
Cisco provides the secure connective tissue between all those locations and ORVIWO’s AI-Ready Data Centers.
In the ORVIWO ecosystem, Cisco typically powers:
Campus and branch networks in agencies, hospitals, utilities and enterprises
SD-WAN and SASE connectivity across fiber, 5G, LTE, and satellite (including Starlink and Semtech AirLink XR60/XR80 integrations)
Identity and access control with Cisco ISE and Duo
This gives our customers:
Application-aware routing that prefers the best path for each AI or mission application
Consistent security controls for remote and roaming users
End-to-end observability using tools like ThousandEyes and AppDynamics
If Arista is the data-center motorway, Cisco is the national highway system connecting every city, base and outpost back to ORVIWO’s AI core.
How They Work Together (Not Against Each Other)
1. Unified Zero-Trust Architecture
ORVIWO designs architectures where segmentation, identity and security are aligned end-to-end:
Arista carries micro-segments across the data-center fabric using EVPN/VXLAN.
Palo Alto enforces granular app and user policies at the gateways between those segments.
Cisco controls who and what can even reach the environment (NAC, SASE, SD-WAN).
Example policy:
“Only authenticated radiology staff can access the AI imaging cluster from hospital networks; never from guest Wi-Fi or unmanaged devices.”
That one requirement is enforced simultaneously by Cisco (at the edge), Palo Alto (at the security stack) and Arista (in the fabric).
2. Telemetry Feeding ORVIWO’s Neuro-Tactical Intelligence
Each vendor provides visibility from a different angle:
Arista: latency, dropped packets, ECN, fabric path visibility
Palo Alto: threats, applications, anomalies, data exfiltration attempts
Cisco: WAN performance, path health, user experience metrics
ORVIWO fuses that telemetry into Neuro-Tactical Intelligence dashboards and AI models that:
Predict failures before they impact missions
Correlate security events across layers
Provide clear, mission-language views to decision makers (not just raw logs)
3. Multi-Cloud and Edge Consistency
Many of our customers run hybrid environments: on-prem, multiple clouds, and tactical edges.
In that scenario:
Arista extends the data-center networking model into cloud and colocation.
Palo Alto runs as virtual or containerized firewalls in those same clouds.
Cisco provides the SD-WAN/SASE fabric that securely connects sites, vehicles and users.
Result: no matter where your data or AI workloads live, the architecture stays consistent and governed by the same ORVIWO playbook.
Why This Matters for Puerto Rico, the Caribbean & LATAM
For our region, reliability isn’t a luxury. We deal with:
Hurricanes, power instability and connectivity challenges
Critical missions across health, energy, water, ports, airports and public safety
Increasing cyber, physical and hybrid threats
By combining Arista Networks, Palo Alto Networks and Cisco under a single ORVIWO design, we give our customers:
AI-ready performance for modern analytics and machine learning
Zero-Trust protection across data center, cloud, branch and edge
Operational resilience and observability from the HQ rack to the remote vehicle
This is how ORVIWO turns global-class technology into region-specific, mission-ready solutions.
