For public safety, utilities, defense, logistics, and critical infrastructure, connectivity and computing are no longer “just IT.”
They are mission systems: if they fail, the operation fails.
At ORVIWO, we design complete, field-ready solutions that combine:
Starlink satellite connectivity (Mini, Standard, or High Performance)
T-Mobile 5G/LTE (and other carriers, when required by the customer)
Semtech AirLink XR60 for secure, intelligent WAN routing
Getac rugged devices – V120, F120, K120 – as the edge computing layer
Optional Avigilon video systems and rugged UPS for power resilience
This blog presents four ORVIWO solution bundles that turn those components into deployable capabilities for Puerto Rico and the Americas.

Why combine satellite, 5G and rugged compute?
Most organizations now face the same challenges:
Operations must continue even when primary ISPs fail
Teams need secure access to apps and data from the field
Devices must survive heat, rain, dust, vibration, and drops
Connectivity should be automatic and seamless for users
That’s why ORVIWO architecture is built around three layers:
Connectivity backbone
Starlink (Mini / Standard / High Performance)
T-Mobile 5G/LTE as primary cellular (or the customer’s preferred carrier)
Semtech AirLink XR60 to orchestrate cellular + satellite + VPN
Rugged edge computing
Getac V120 (AI rugged laptop)
Getac F120 (AI rugged tablet / Copilot+ class)
Getac K120 (multi-mode field service tablet)
Mission services and resilience
Avigilon video and analytics (where applicable)
CyberPower/APC UPS and power designs
ORVIWO integration, configuration, and field deployment
From that foundation, we’ve created four standardized, but highly customizable, solution bundles.

1. ORVIWO RapidDeploy Field Kit
Starlink Mini + Getac F120 + T-Mobile 5G (where available)
When you need to stand up a working node fast—in a shelter, a temporary clinic, a remote school, or a disaster site—you don’t always have a full command vehicle. You need a grab-and-go kit that fits in a case or backpack.
That’s the mission of the ORVIWO RapidDeploy Field Kit.
What’s inside
Starlink Mini
Compact, low-power satellite terminal
Ideal for ad-hoc command posts, shelters, remote buildings
Can run from portable power / small UPS
Getac F120 fully rugged AI tablet
12.2" LumiBond® display with 1,200 nits brightness
Intel® Core™ Ultra 200V with Intel® AI Boost (up to 48 TOPS)
Hot-swappable batteries for long days in the field
Fully rugged, MIL-STD and IP66 for harsh environments
T-Mobile 5G/LTE (or customer’s preferred carrier)
Used where cellular coverage exists
Starlink Mini becomes the satellite backup when terrestrial networks fail
In normal conditions, the kit can use T-Mobile 5G/LTE (or another carrier) as the primary path. When that’s not available, Starlink Mini provides satellite connectivity to keep communications online.
What this enables
Rapid deployment of Wi-Fi and connectivity in the field
Remote inspections, reporting, and photo/video capture
Real-time messaging, email, and collaboration tools
Edge AI workflows on the F120 for diagnostics, triage, or analytics
Who it’s for
Municipal emergency operations and disaster response
NGOs and humanitarian teams
Utilities and field inspection crews
Schools, clinics, pharmacies that need temporary resilient connectivity
The core idea: if you had 20 minutes to establish a working field node, this is the kit you’d want.

2. ORVIWO Tactical Vehicle Command Kit
Starlink High Performance / Standard + T-Mobile 5G + AirLink XR60 + Getac V120
Some missions move by vehicle: public safety patrols, search and rescue, convoy operations, utility repair crews. In those cases, the vehicle itself can become a rolling command post.
The ORVIWO Tactical Vehicle Command Kit transforms a vehicle into a self-contained communication and computing hub.
Core components
Starlink High Performance (Flat or Standard)
High-throughput satellite backhaul
Designed for harsh weather and sustained use
Ideal for streaming, multi-user collaboration, live video
T-Mobile 5G/LTE (or customer’s preferred carrier)
Primary WAN link when terrestrial networks are available
High bandwidth and low latency for mission applications
Semtech AirLink XR60
Enterprise-grade router for vehicles and field deployments
Manages multi-WAN (5G/LTE + Starlink) with automatic failover
Provides VPN, firewall, and secure remote management
Getac V120 fully rugged laptop
Intel® Core™ Ultra (Series 2) with Intel® Arc™ graphics
12.2" sunlight-readable display (up to 1,000 nits)
MIL-STD-810H / MIL-STD-461G / IP66, hot-swappable dual batteries
Ideal as primary operator console for CAD, GIS, video, and AI tools
How it works in the field
In normal conditions, the XR60 uses T-Mobile 5G/LTE as the primary link.
If coverage is lost or infrastructure is damaged, Starlink takes over as the satellite path.
The failover is handled by the XR60, so operators keep working—no manual switching needed.
This combination is perfect for:
Police, fire, and EMS command vehicles
Search and rescue and disaster assessment teams
Defense and tactical mobility operations
Utility or infrastructure crews that need a true mobile HQ
When paired with Avigilon video solutions, the same platform can carry live feeds from vehicle cameras, fixed assets, or drones—turning the vehicle into a real-time situational awareness node.
3. ORVIWO Field Service Pro Kit
Getac K120 + T-Mobile 5G/LTE fleet connectivity
Field service and utility technicians live in the real world: sun, dust, rain, heat, industrial noise, and tight spaces. Their device has to adapt to them, not the other way around.
The ORVIWO Field Service Pro Kit is built around the Getac K120 rugged tablet.
Why K120 for technicians
13th Gen Intel® Core™ i5/i7 processors with Intel® Iris® Xe graphics
12.5" FHD LumiBond® 2.0 display with 1,200 nits brightness
Multiple modes: tablet, laptop (with keyboard), docked in-vehicle, handle & tilt modes
MIL-STD-810H, IP66, and drop-tested up to 6 ft
Dual hot-swappable batteries, with high-capacity options
The K120 can be:
Mounted in the vehicle dock for navigation and dispatch
Carried as a tablet for inspections and photos
Used as a laptop with keyboard for heavier documentation and analysis
Connectivity with T-Mobile 5G/LTE
In many fleets, ORVIWO designs the solution so that:
The vehicle uses T-Mobile 5G/LTE via XR60 or another in-vehicle router
The K120 connects to this secure in-vehicle network, or uses its own WWAN options
Data from CMMS, EAM, GIS, and ticketing systems stays real-time and reliable
Ideal use cases
Electric, water, and telecom utility crews
Industrial maintenance and inspection teams
Logistics, warehouse operations, and yard management
Manufacturing plants and refineries
The result is a rugged productivity toolkit: technicians stay connected, informed, and effective even in harsh locations and long shifts.

4. ORVIWO Fixed-Site Resilience Node
Starlink Standard + T-Mobile 5G/LTE (or other carrier) + Rugged Compute + UPS
Branch offices, clinics, pharmacies, remote depots, and small municipal buildings all suffer from the same problem: a single fiber or cable outage can take them completely offline.
The ORVIWO Fixed-Site Resilience Node is a standardized way to keep those sites connected and operational.
Typical architecture
Starlink Standard
Acts as a backup ISP or primary link for remote locations
High-throughput, weather-resilient satellite connectivity
T-Mobile 5G/LTE (or customer’s preferred carrier)
Used as primary path when available, via an XR60 or compatible router
Starlink takes over when terrestrial connectivity is lost
Rugged compute (Getac V120 or K120)
Local, durable workstation for site monitoring, incident response, or remote support
Can host local tools, VMS clients, or act as an incident terminal
CyberPower / APC UPS
Keeps Starlink, router, and key gear powered through short-term outages
Protects equipment against surges and voltage instability common in many regions
This design can be extended to include:
Avigilon video for local and remote surveillance
Integration with existing firewalls and SD-WAN
Additional IoT or monitoring solutions
The result: a branch that is much harder to take offline, even when commercial power or ISP links are unstable.

Why ORVIWO, and why now?
You can buy Starlink, a router, and a rugged device separately—but that doesn’t solve the real problem.
The value of ORVIWO is in how we:
Architect the full solution (cellular + satellite + rugged compute + power)
Select and integrate T-Mobile 5G/LTE or other carriers based on coverage and mission
Harden the design for real-world environments in Puerto Rico and across the Americas
Deliver documentation, SOPs, and training so teams know exactly how to use it
We translate Starlink + T-Mobile 5G + Semtech AirLink XR60 + Getac (V120/F120/K120) into clear, mission-aligned packages:
RapidDeploy Field Kit
Tactical Vehicle Command Kit
